What do you like about working in the investment management business?
I enjoy learning and having to adapt to new ways of thinking, and my previous experience in the tech industry has given me a unique perspective when approaching the finance industry.

What part of your job do you like best and why?
I think it’s exciting to leverage my earlier experience and apply some of the latest available technology and AI to gather and organize information for our portfolio managers. Learning the ins and outs of all these new industries has been gratifying, and learning the intricacies of finance alongside these applications has been a fascinating journey.

What personal attributes make you good at your job?
I believe I am patient and passionate when it comes to solving problems and enjoy adapting to new ways of thinking and interpreting trends.

What’s your favorite way to spend free time?
Spending time with my friends and family, making music, and reading up on the latest science and technology news.

What’s your biggest challenge on the job?
Not having any background in the industry and coming from Information Technology was quite the jump, but I’ve quickly grown to enjoy the environment and the challenges it offers.

– Collaborated in crafting a proprietary set of prompts to use with Large Language Models (LLM) aiding in Portfolio Manager’s equity asset reviews.
